Polymer Synthesis and Modification

Develop new functional
(bio)polymers

The group aims to develop new functional (bio)polymers with controlled architecture, molecular properties, and diverse functionality. Our focus is to:
i) Enhance the mechanical and thermal properties
ii) Incorporate multifunctionality
iii) Control biodegradation
Our approaches include employing conventional polymerization techniques such as suspension, emulsion, and Reversible Addition-Fragmentation Chain Transfer (RAFT) to better understand the structure-property relationships of polymeric materials.
